Kashi crunch a hit

Recently we were asked by BuzzReports to sample (for free I might add) Kashi Hummus Crisps. I have heard of Kashi from my years past working retail and knew how much people love this brand name, I understand their cereal is quite good. I realize that it's in the organic department and thought it would be too expensive as healthy eating typically is, sadly. I was intrigued by the idea of a free sample though and really want my kids to eat healthy and was delighted when my 2 year old daughter liked them right away.

As soon as the mail man dropped off the box at the door I opened it and then the bag inside. My curious daughter was in tow and was begging for some; then some more and some more... I too was surprised that it was not super strong of a taste but tasted good. My sample was Sea Salt and Olive Oil and was light, tasty and no guilt!

I had seen there is another flavor I really want to try and I am happy to have the coupons that came with my sample box.
In all fairness, I'm not a big time snacker. Never have been. I am very interested in the caramelized onion if I can find it though.

BuzzAgent Bev: Thoughts & new campaign

I finally received a new campaign request and I am really excited about this.

Reason I am excited about Children's Claritin is because I have not only suffered with allergies affecting my asthma but my 17 year old son also has very bad allergies. What's worse is I am starting to suspect my 2 year old baby girl is starting to show symptoms of allergies with a consistent itching of her nose. I realize this isn't much and most pediatricians will not do anything to help "with out a history" of symptoms but I learned with my older two children that sometimes you HAVE TO go with your motherly instinct. I am very pleased with past results for myself and my son when he was much younger, with the Claritin brand name and so I put trust in the care of my littlest one. I look forward to sharing results as the campaign starts with the receipt of my BzzAgent kit and free sample of Children's Claritin.

Here is more info to read up on:

Powerful all-day relief

Children’s Claritin® is the only over-the-counter children’s brand that provides powerful 24 hour relief from seasonal allergens and indoor allergens – including dust, mold and pet dander – without making your child jittery or drowsy.1 What’s more, it’s the #1 Pediatrician Recommended Non-Drowsy Brand — an important fact to note when choosing medication for your child. Children’s Claritin® Grape Syrup can help kids focus on being a kid again, and not on their allergies.

On another note:
RANT WARNING

I know the idea behind BzzReports dashboard showing currant campaigns is to inform BzzAgents of products they receive from major companies to sample and report on; sparking more interest in BzzReport. It also frustrates me the very same. I see other products I wish I could have tried/sampled/Buzzed about and wonder what I have or have not done to be a part of these items. I see products that are up, many times that I can decipher were items I was surveyed for and did not receive. I can understand why I was not chosen for these when I see what the products are after the fact. However when I see products that I would have been perfect for and NEVER received a survey for I can not understand what criteria I had to have to qualify. Much of this pondering comes from the fact that I am big into home cooking (a virtuoso of the foodie world if you will). Here are two current examples:

I have cooked many times with pierogies and other brand sausages and I have wanted to try others, such as Johnsonville. I get coupons for these many times, clip and never really use. Reason for that is because they are never on sale. Only Hillshire Farms. Thus I have would have loved to try this campaign.
Mrs. T's, I have tried before but only purchase when they are on sale and I have coupons; mostly because I have found store brands such as Giant Eagles version and Aldi's version to be tasty as well and cheaper when there is no sale.

Why oh why?

A new QUIET spell....

WOW! Is it me?! I am on my last trial as a BzzAgent and it was not a success. I haven't had any other offers in a while and am wondering why now. I was getting many for a while and now nothing, so I a wondering if this is a dry spell for BzzReports or is it just myself?! Well, not that I don't love the things they select and send me; I have REALLY enjoyed it and even recommended it to a friend who is now a BzzAgent.

I am constantly checking BzzReports, taking surveys and such... and waiting... Keeping hopeful.

Sampled New Garnier Olia

Well I've tried this product, my latest and last item from BuzzReports and Garnier. I DO color my hair about once a month and usually use Clairol but I am always open to try something new and fully believe that if there is something out there to try free or very cheaply and I like, I will switch. I knew I had to color as my greys were starting to shine through as they do, like a neon sign flashing "you have children and are 40-something"! We were to go on a trip this past Sunday so I waited and colored my hair Saturday night.

Here is what my kit looked like, that I received free as a BuzzAgent and as you can see I tried number 643 in a red that closely matched, by the picture on the box, to the current color of my hair. It was very easy to mix and use with the large bulb bottle. Like many others, I will say the smell to this hair color kit is very pleasing compared to others so I wasn't thinking I needed to wash my hair after coloring and that made me happy. I also used the tube of conditioning that came with the kit on my hair as I have felt the current conditioner I have been using has been allowing my hair to frizz and tangle. I didn't really notice any difference though, but I went to bed that night with a wet head.

I had applied it heavily to my roots, where my greys were showing with new growth from my last coloring and pulled the color through my whole hair. When I styled it the next morning I noticed it was way darker than I thought it would be and was a bit disappointed, but it is not a big deal to me. What did bother me as I started to really look at my scalp closely was that it really didn't color/cover my greys and I did keep the color on the time according to the instructions.

My resulting review: where it is a great smelling product, it did not give me silky conditioned hair after application and though the kit was easy to handle and smelled very good it is not for me. I now need to use a root touch up product to cover my greys that are still like a homing beacon on my head. I am sorry as I really do like Garnier product and do buy them when my budget allows.
Thank you Garnier and BuzzReports for the opportunity to try this product!
